AI Engineer
Build real AI systems and AI agents in production. Designed for 2026 graduates with a Master of Science in Engineering.
The Role
We are looking for AI Engineers who are graduating in 2026 (or have graduated within the past year) with a Master of Science in Engineering. This role is designed for individuals at the beginning of their careers who want to build real AI systems and AI agents in production environments.
At Algorithma, you will work on developing AI-driven solutions and autonomous AI agents for clients across industries. You will be involved in the full lifecycle, from early-stage prototyping to deployment and continuous improvement. The role combines strong technical problem-solving with practical implementation and close collaboration with colleagues and clients.
You will not only experiment with models. You will design, build and deploy AI systems and agents that create measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- •Design and develop AI-based applications and AI agents.
- •Build prototypes and production-ready systems using modern AI frameworks, APIs and agent architectures.
- •Work with large language models and other machine learning technologies.
- •Develop and orchestrate AI agents that interact with tools, data sources and external systems.
- •Collaborate with consultants, developers and client teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- •Contribute to architectural decisions and technical design.
- •Continuously learn and explore new tools, frameworks and approaches within AI and agent-based systems.
Qualifications
- •Graduating in 2026 or graduated within the past year with a Master of Science in Engineering in a field such as Engineering Physics, Engineering Mathematics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Data Science or a related technical discipline.
- •Solid programming skills, preferably in Python.
- •Strong foundation in mathematics or algorithmic thinking.
- •Experience from university projects, thesis work or internships involving AI, machine learning, AI agents or data-intensive systems.
- •Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies.
- •Strong analytical foundation with a passion for solving complex technical problems.
- •Curious, proactive and motivated by building systems that operate reliably in real-world environments.
Bonus Points
- •Experience working with machine learning frameworks, LLM-based systems or agent frameworks.
- •Familiarity with APIs, backend development or cloud environments.
- •Experience building or experimenting with AI agents that use tools or external integrations.
- •Personal projects, open-source contributions or a GitHub portfolio.
- •Experience from internships, summer jobs or research projects within AI.
