Meet the team: Felix Baart – Focused on impact, driven by curiosity
We’re thrilled to introduce Felix, one of the newest additions to the Algorithma team! With a dynamic career journey that spans risk management, tech strategy, and agile business-tech transformation, Felix brings a deep understanding of how organizations evolve with technology. Starting his professional path with risk management at Deloitte in 2016, Felix transitioned to work on tech operating models and later joined Sofigate, where he focused on automating operating models and streamlining processes using tools like ServiceNow.
But it was during a side project in early 2023 that Felix truly discovered the power of AI; building an app with AI assistance unlocked a new level of speed and creativity. That “wow” moment sparked a passion that led him to head Sofigate Sweden’s AI team and integrate AI into nearly every aspect of his workflows, both professionally and personally. From creating his own personal AI assistant to leading innovation in client solutions, Felix is on a mission to harness AI for practical, meaningful impact.

One of Felix’s proudest achievements is teaching himself to code by building Uber-style apps that connect customers with hairdressers, projects he launched after long evenings and weekends of learning. It’s this fearless approach to learning and building that defines his mindset: test, experiment, create.
Felix stays ahead of the curve by curating his social feeds with top thinkers on LinkedIn and X, constantly testing the most promising new AI use cases. Online courses (like those on Udemy) have also helped him understand the underlying mechanics of AI, feeding his fascination for a field that’s evolving by the week.
At Algorithma, Felix finds strong alignment with the company’s values. Inspired by Tim Urban’s analogy of AI as humanity walking a knife’s edge between immense potential and profound risk, he’s driven to contribute toward a better future. Even if his impact is small, it’s meaningful, and it’s part of a collective mission at Algorithma to deploy AI with responsibility and ambition.
Outside of work, Felix is returning to the team after spending valuable time on parental leave with his one-year-old daughter. When he’s not with his family, he’s likely exploring AI tools for fun, editing videos for his mountain biking YouTube channel, skiing off-piste, or reading to explore new topics and ideas. Nature is his daily reset, whether through running or walks.
Looking ahead, Felix aims to build as many valuable and ethically sound AI implementations as possible - improving lives, advancing innovation, and growing a purpose-driven team that takes pride in solving complex problems together.
